Hey There

I’m Dee Jones. I believe it's important to know a little about the person you are considering working with, especially if you are going to share personal things or allow the person to have a voice in some capacity in your life. Below are some bullet points about me and my experience.

• Licensed marriage and family therapist in Texas since 2005 I provide individual and couples counseling through an online platform, making it convenient for my clients to access support. I intentionally keep my caseload small so that I have the margin to give my clients focused support and engagement.

• My family and I served as missionaries for four years in Estonia, where we planted an English-speaking church. We continue to be involved in church planting and strengthening efforts in both the Baltic region and the U.S.

• I’m also trained in DISC and Leader Portrait assessments, along with leadership coaching. I love working with corporate and church teams to help them better understand themselves and each other, enhancing their effectiveness in their work and service.

• I serve as a counselor-assessor for the Converge Church Planting Assessment Center, supporting new church leaders in their journey.

• Since 2007, my husband and I have been active in church ministry—he as a pastor and I in various roles. Currently, I’m the Director of Women’s Ministry at our church, where I lead initiatives to empower and support women.

• I also am honored to have opportunities to speak at conferences and lead workshops on topics related to mental health, ministry leadership, and strengthening couples and families.

 

I’m an upbeat and optimistic person, deeply committed to faith in Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord, family, and serving others. I celebrate all that God has done for me through Jesus Christ and strive to spread joy and hope in every interaction. While I know I’m not perfect, I embrace my authenticity and do my best to show up genuinely, both personally and professionally.
